Zenker's diverticulum
Pharyngeal pouch
F A Zenker (1825-1898). German physician and pathologist who
described trichinosis in 1860 and wrote the first description of fat
embolism in man in 1862. He described Charcot-Leyden crystals in
asthma in 1851. He became a Professor of Pathology in his native city of
Dresden.
